
Thomas Van Maele is a co-founder and chief executive officer of Harmoney, based in Ghent. He co-founded Harmoney NV in November 2016, and states expertise in fintech and SaaS.
Before Harmoney, he was a partner at Econopolis Private Investments from March 2011 to November 2016. He had joined KPMG in September 2007 as a senior advisor in corporate finance, a role he held until March 2011, and had earlier spent August and September 2006 as an intern at Degroof Petercam.
Van Maele studied at Ghent University, where he completed a master in applied economics in business engineering between 2002 and 2006, followed by a master in operations and technology management in business engineering in 2006 and 2007. He attended the executive programme at Singularity University in 2015. His secondary education was in Latin-Mathematics at Sint-Barbaracollege, from 1996 to 2002.
