Tim Simon
Tim Simon is the founder of rush and is based in New York City. Since April 2024 he has been a portfolio manager at Stryker, which he joined in February 2022 as a senior portfolio marketing associate. Before that he spent close to five years at Terumo as an inside sales representative, from July 2017 to February 2022.
Earlier in his career he was a business analyst intern at Idea Foundry from June 2016 to April 2017 and a Coulter Business Fellow with the Coulter Translational Research Partners II Program in the first half of 2016. He worked as a sales and logistics assistant at the University Store on Fifth, as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, and as a technology consultant with Pride Technologies/Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney in the summer of 2012.
Simon studied at the University of Pittsburgh, where he took a Bachelor of Science in bioengineering and biomedical engineering between 2011 and 2015 and then an M.B.A. together with a master's degree in bioengineering between 2015 and 2017. He attended Whippany Park High School.
