Tim Van den Herrewegen

Tim Van den Herrewegen is a co-founder of Wattloop, where he has been chief financial officer since February 2025. He is based in Gent. He has also been a product manager at Sentometrics since January 2024 and a business architect for finance and customer payments at Colruyt Group since January 2023.

Between 2012 and 2022 he worked at Wolters Kluwer - Financial Services Solutions, where he was successively a project manager, team lead for the financial data layer and calculators, product owner for the finance and data layer, programme manager for strategic accounts and product manager for open strategy. Earlier he was a functional consultant at DNB and at Van Lanschot Bankiers, a business analyst at Financial Architects, and an intern in Deloitte's audit and enterprise risk services.

He studied at Ghent University, completing a master's in economic sciences in 2008 and a master's in banking and finance in 2009.
