Timour Matthys

Timour Matthys is Chief Technology Officer of nanoGrid, a role he has held since October 2019, and is based in Gent. He has been with the company since April 2013, first as project manager for energy systems and then, from January 2018, as head of engineering. Since April 2025 he has also been the owner of Yhprum BV.

Before joining nanoGrid he was a junior design engineer at Inverto NV from September 2012 to April 2013. He studied at Ghent University from 2007 to 2012, completing a Bachelor of Science in electrical and electronics engineering in 2010 and a Master of Science in the same field in 2012, and held student jobs at the university during that period. He attended DVM Humaniora from 2001 to 2007.
