Tjorven Delabie

Tjorven Delabie is the chief executive officer of arcsec, a role he has held since October 2020. He is based in Leuven.

Delabie studied at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor of applied science in mechanical engineering between 2005 and 2008 and a master's degree in the same field between 2008 and 2010. He remained at the university for the following decade, working as a scientific researcher from August 2010 to December 2011, as a PhD researcher from January 2012 to January 2016, and then as a postdoctoral researcher from January 2016 until January 2021, a period that overlapped with his first months at arcsec.

Between January 2014 and December 2017 he was a co-creator of SpaceBillboard.com.
