
Tom Bussche
Tom Bussche is the chief executive officer of Qbus Building Intelligence, a position he has held since September 2008. He is based in Gent. He has also been a board member of SUMUM since April 2020 and an advisor to Zensor since January 2016.
Before joining Qbus Building Intelligence, Bussche spent four years at GE Consumer & Industrial, where he began on the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program in July 2004, became brand and marketing communications manager for EMEA in June 2006, and then led business development and M&A from May 2007. In 2003 he worked on technology commercialization at the Palo Alto Research Center. He started his career at ACUNIA NV as a sales account manager in August 1998, moving to Acunia USA in January 2000 as director of business development and chief operating officer until July 2002.
Bussche studied law at Ghent University, graduating in 1997, then took a masters in general management at Vlerick Business School and an MBA at Harvard Business School, completed in 2004.
