Tom Gols
Tom Gols is co-founder and CEO of mentalify, a role he has held since June 2024, and is based in Gent. He also founded GROEPSPRAKTIJK HOOFDKWARTIER in January 2013 and remains its founder, having worked there as a clinical psychologist from January 2013 until December 2024.
Between September 2014 and August 2020 he was a psycho-pedagogisch consulent at Vrij CLB Anker, and from September 2020 to August 2021 he coordinated its trajectteam. Earlier, from 2013 to 2016, he worked as a clinical psychologist at AZ Jan Portaels.
He studied psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, completing a bachelor's degree in 2010 and a master's degree in clinical psychology in 2012. He then took a postgraduate programme in psychodiagnostics at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2013, followed by a postgraduate programme in coachend leidinggeven at HOGENT from 2013 to 2014.
