Tom Rycker
Tom Rycker is the owner of HOX Orthopedie, based in Gent. He has been with the company since September 2000, working as a licensed orthopaedic technician (CPO) and serving as co-CEO, and took up ownership in April 2013. Between May 2020 and October 2024 he was also co-owner of Optiek Collette. From November 2006 to January 2007 he worked as a licensed orthopaedic technician (CPO) at Rinko Orthopedic, Inc.
He studied at Syntra from 2000 to 2005, obtaining a bachelor's degree in orthotics, prosthetics and mobility, and completed a CPO master's degree in the same field at OT BUFA in Dortmund in 2006 and 2007. He is registered with RIZIV as a licensed supplier of orthotics, prostheses, bandagistery and mobility.
