Tom Verriest

Tom Verriest is CTO of Automation, a role he took up in January 2026, and is based in Brugge. He has owned T-Consult BVBA since September 2016 and has sat on the board of advisors of Priem-De Brabander bvba since January 2024, having also served on the board of advisors of ACT Now Education during 2025.

From August 2022 to December 2025 he was R&D Director at TOMRA Food, where he had earlier been a senior end-to-end project manager between March 2019 and March 2021. In between he worked at Technicolor, first as a senior customer delivery manager and then in the COO office until July 2022. He was senior asset innovation manager and digital transformation lead at Lineas from October 2016 to February 2019, and a guest lecturer at HOGENT bedrijfsmanagement from 2017 to 2019. Before that he was Global Program Director at TPVision from 2012 to 2016, following eleven years at Philips as an electrical designer, electrical platform leader and global project manager.

Verriest studied electronics at Ghent University, bedrijfskunde at KU Leuven and took an international MBA at Vlerick Business School.
