Tomislav Krnic

Tomislav Krnic is a full stack developer based in Gent and the founder of krnic, which he started in December 2024. He works in full-stack development, start-up leadership, software as a service, React Native and React.js.

He has been associated with Toptal since 2012, in full-stack and React Native engineering roles and on engagements including Branch and Loop Africa. He is also a full stack engineer at LOOP AFRICA and at Birdbuddy, which he joined in 2023, and product owner at MealMate Inc. He was a full stack developer at Journey and a development consultant on projects at Identyum, and previously a full stack engineer at Branch and at Entrio. At Epic Apps he was project manager and CTO on Grga from 2018 to 2020 and later product owner and team lead on the MealMate project.

Krnic was tech co-founder of Grga, a founding board member of Glas PODUZETNIKA, and co-founder of Touchmoon, Inc. Earlier he worked at Studio Cro-design as a freelance PHP web developer and as CEO and web developer on HRphotocontest.com, and lectured in information technology at the University of Zagreb from 1997 to 2000.

He holds a bachelor's degree in computational science from ZAGREB and a bachelor of engineering in information technology from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences.
