Tybo Mollet

Tybo Mollet is the CEO of Optimum Sorting, a position he has held since September 2024. He is based in Maasmechelen.

Before joining Optimum Sorting, he was managing director for Europe at Dabico Airport Solutions from March to August 2024. He spent from June 2017 to December 2023 at Lumileds, first as director and global head of indirect procurement and corporate real estate, then from May 2020 as senior director for industrial strategy and corporate development. Earlier, he worked at Philips from October 2009, as a process and development engineer and then as lead buyer and procurement manager, before moving to Philips Automotive in March 2014 as senior programme manager for global value engineering.

Mollet studied chemical engineering at Ghent University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2007, and completed a Master of Science in materials engineering there in 2009. He went on to study business administration at EHSAL Management School, took an MBA at Vlerick Business School in 2016, and studied international business in China at Peking University the same year.
