Valerian Thomas

Valerian Thomas is Chief Technology Officer at Carfixer, a role he has held since January 2021. He is based in Brussels.

Before joining Carfixer, he was a machine learning engineer at Faktion from November 2019 to January 2021. He had several roles at BeCode.org: junior web developer from September 2017 to April 2018, public speaker from September 2018 to November 2019, and main instructor of the Microsoft AI School from April 2019 to November 2019. Between the first two of these, he worked as a full stack developer at Startup Factory Brussels from April to September 2018. Earlier, he was an administrative and financial assistant at [PIAS] in the summer of 2016, and assistant to the general manager at ART SHIPPERS in the summer of 2013.

Thomas studied international business management and business development in emerging markets at EPHEC, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2015, and completed a Master in International Business at EAE Business School in 2017.
