Valéry Mainjot
Valéry Mainjot is the chief executive officer of Cikisi, a role he has held since February 2016, and is based in Brussels. Since August 2014 he has also been managing owner of VINCIT SRL.
Between July 2010 and June 2011 he was a military operational requirements analyst at FN Herstal, then market intelligence and business development manager there from June 2011 to August 2015. His earlier career was with Belgian Defence, where he served as a paracommando infantry officer from November 2003 to November 2006 and as a special forces officer from November 2006 to June 2010, before continuing as a reserve officer from July 2010 until March 2018.
Mainjot studied at the Athénée Royal Charles Rogier Liège 1 and took a bachelor of applied science at the University of Liège from 1994 to 1997. He completed a master of applied sciences in ballistics at the Royal Military Academy, Belgium, in 2003. In 2012 he obtained a certificat de base en expertise judiciaire at the University of Liège, and in 2013 an Executive Master en Intelligence Stratégique at HEC Liège Executive Education.
