Veronique Pattyn

Veronique Pattyn is chief executive officer and co-founder of PointCaré, a role she has held since February 2025. She is based in Gent.

Since February 1998 she has worked through Clear Vision Consult BV as a strategic business development consultant and business analyst in health technology, and a long series of assignments runs through that company: director of marketing and sales Europe for LaserSight Technologies Inc. from 1998 to 2003 and for IntraLase Corp./Abbott Laboratories from 2003 to 2007, managing director Europe for Eyeonics/Bausch&Lomb Surgical from 2007 to 2010, director of business development at Revision Optics from 2010 to 2011, business development manager at AcuFocus from 2011 to 2014, sales executive medical at SOL Group Belgium from 2014 to 2017, part-time managing director EURMEA at TissueTech Inc. from 2017 to 2019, part-time general manager Europe at Gocheck Kids from 2018 to 2019, associate director global business development med tech solutions at Santen Pharmaceutical from 2019 to 2023, and chief operating officer of Medevise Consulting Group from 2023 to 2024. She was an observing board member of NovaSight from 2021 to 2023 and of BELKIN Vision from 2022 to 2023.

Her career began at De Ceunynck Medical, where she was a product manager for medical devices from 1994 to 1998. She holds an MBA in general management from HEC Paris and a bachelor's degree in optometry, and passed the Belgian state examinations as an optician in 1991. Dutch is her mother tongue, she is fluent in English, French and Spanish, and she also speaks German.
