Vishal Punamiya
Vishal Punamiya is based in Leuven. He founded Ventory in July 2021 and has been its CEO since. He has also been a mentor at Start it @KBC since December 2019.
He co-founded Sitemark in April 2016 and was its CEO until June 2020, then served as its chief strategy officer and a member of its executive board until June 2021.
Before that he was CIO Europe at Panalpina from January 2015 to September 2016. He spent nearly nine years at DHL, joining as a senior business analyst in March 2006 and going on to hold roles as project manager for operations, programme manager for global operations, and senior director of global IT for customer solutions until December 2014. Earlier he was an analyst and junior project leader at Envirotainer and an account representative at Berkshire Hathaway.
Punamiya studied economics and mathematics at Maryville College, graduating in 2004, after business management studies at the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies from 1998 to 2000. He attended SDILA from 1992 to 1998.
