Ward Servaes
Ward Servaes co-founded moveUP with Philippe Van Overschelde, Charles-Eric Winandy, and Pierre-Yves Druenne. As a software engineer, Servaes met orthopedic surgeon Philippe Van Overschelde through a business school connection. Together they built moveUP's digital care platform, which became the first mobile health app in Belgium to receive RIZIV/INAMI reimbursement. The platform is now active in 13 European countries and used in 40+ hospitals across orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, and other therapeutic areas.
