Wim Bruycker

Wim Bruycker is based in Leuven, where he co-founded Beerhive, sensory data mining, in April 2018. Since October 2014 he has also worked in data management at Departement Zorg.

Before that he held a series of statistical roles in the Belgian judicial system: he was a statistical analyst and coordinator at the College van Procureurs-Generaal from December 2011 to September 2014, having spent the previous five years as a statistical analyst at the Parket-generaal Antwerpen from October 2006. From November 1998 to September 2006 he was a scientific researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Psychology at the University of Leuven, and in September and October 1998 he worked as a statistician at Cebir nv. Between August 1997 and March 1998 he completed a research internship at the Laboratoire de Psychologie Différentielle at the Université René Descartes, Paris V.

Bruycker studied at St.-Leocollege Brugge and took a master's degree in experimental psychology at KU Leuven, completing it in 1998. From 2014 to 2016 he studied zythology at Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant.
