Wim Van Balen
Wim Van Balen is Managing Partner and Sales Director at agisko, a role he has held since October 2019, and is based in Antwerp. His stated areas of expertise are cyber resilience, infrastructure, Nutanix products and Rubrik. Since June 2011 he has also been Managing Director of WVIMC.
Before joining Agisko he was Solution Team Manager at SecureLink Belgium from July 2016 to September 2019, overlapping with his time as CEO and Managing Partner of Raido, which he held from October 2008 to December 2016. Earlier he worked at Login Consultants from September 2004 to October 2008, where he was successively consultant, senior consultant and IT architect. He was an IT infrastructure architect at Bull from April 2002 to August 2004, an IT support engineer at Thales Communications Belgium from May 1999 to February 2002, and a mechanical engineer at Alcatel Bell from August 1998 to April 1999.
He studied from 1993 to 1998 at Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, taking a master's degree in industrial engineering, and at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, taking a master's in electro-mechanics.
