Wim Walravens
Wim Walravens is the founder and co-owner of eventpay, which he started in December 2019, and is based in Brussels. Since June 2015 he has also been co-owner and founder of Pop-up Zanzibar, a role he continues to hold.
He spent his earlier career at Paper Converting Machine Company, joining as an automation engineer in October 2008 and holding that position until October 2020, when he became the company's global product and applications leader. He remained in that role until May 2022.
Walravens studied ingenieurswetenschappen at Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent, completing a master's degree between 2004 and 2008.
