Wouter Balcaen
Wouter Balcaen is a co-owner of idocta, based in Waregem. He joined the company as an account sales manager in November 2016 and took up his ownership role in April 2021. Since February 2014 he has also been the manager of Walco bvba, and in December 2025 he became chair of the Essevee Business Community.
Before joining iDocta, Balcaen spent almost nine years at Comfort Energy NV-SA, where he held a branch management role from December 2007 to May 2016 and then worked as a business analyst until November 2016. He began his career at Versari nv, handling invoicing and shipping from August 1997 to December 2007.
In 2015 he completed a Master of Business Administration at Wolters Kluwer.
