Wouter Ducheyne

Wouter Ducheyne is co-founder and chief technology officer of Qpinch, and is based in Antwerp. He co-founded the company in February 2012 and served as its chief executive until September 2018, then as chief technology officer, chief operating officer and co-founder until April 2020, and as co-chief executive from April 2020 to January 2023, when he took up his current role. Since February 2012 he has also been a founding partner of Caloritum.

Before that, Ducheyne spent over thirteen years at BASF, where he worked as a project manager from September 1997 to December 2006 and then as a production manager until January 2011. Between 2008 and November 2009 he was director chapter liaison at the PMI Belgium Chapter.

He studied process chemistry at KU Leuven from 1992 to 1997, graduating as an ingenieur, and completed a certified project management programme at Hogeschool Antwerpen in 2002 and 2003.
