Xavier Werbrouck

Xavier Werbrouck is the CTO and founder of 4itego, and is based in Ledegem. He founded the company and served as its CEO from July 2017 until December 2025, taking up the role of CTO in December 2025.

He holds several board positions: at Innoptus, covering Belgium, the Netherlands and France, since November 2011; at Infinite Simulation Systems B.V., covering Belgium and the Netherlands, since January 2020; and at CAD Services BV in the Netherlands since September 2025. Since January 2017 he has been main sponsor of the Innoptus Solar Team, recorded under the Umicore Solar Team.

Between July 2011 and December 2015 he ran Werbrouck Consult BVBA, which he founded, as a senior CAD-PLM business consultant, and from July 2005 to June 2012 he was owner and building project manager at XGS-Bouw. He spent the earlier part of his career at Savaco, joining in August 2000 as a project engineer for CoCreate solutions and later PTC solutions, then working as a presales consultant for engineering solutions, products and marketing manager, pre-sales manager for engineering solutions and, until July 2011, product strategy manager for CAD and PLM solutions.

He studied industrial engineering in electro mechanics at Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende, graduating in 2000, after industrial sciences at Vrij Technisch Instituut Roeselare, and completed the Mastering the Digital Supply Chain programme at Vlerick Business School in 2020.
