
Yannick Adriaenssens is chief executive officer of Out of Use, based in Beringen. He joined the company as chief operating officer in December 2020 and took up the role of chief executive in October 2024. Since November 2023 he has also served on the board of OCB - Ondernemersclub Beringen.
From June 2016 to July 2020 he was senior counsel for strategic and economic affairs at Febelfin, and over an overlapping period, from September 2017 to July 2020, he sat on the board of Bepact - Belgian Public Affairs Community. He worked at ING Belgium from September 2011 to May 2016, first as corporate lending transaction manager, then as relationship manager and subsequently as project manager. Earlier he was a supervisor at ORTEC TSS from 2008 to 2010 and a private tutor in linear optimisation and operations research at Rebus from 2010 to 2011.
Adriaenssens studied commercial engineering at KU Leuven, graduating in 2010, and followed this with a master's degree in international and comparative politics there in 2011. In 2009 he took part in an exchange programme in international economics at the Université de Montréal.
