Yannick Van Meerbeeck
Yannick Van Meerbeeck is a co-founder and Head of Tech at weichie, and is based in Boortmeerbeek. He has been CTO and partner at Weichie since January 2022, and between June 2022 and December 2024 also worked there as a Web3 and smart contract developer. Since July 2014 he has been the founder of Yame.
Before that he was at iValue.be, where he worked as a WordPress developer from 2017 to 2018, as a PHP developer from 2017 to 2020 and as a Drupal developer from 2018 to 2020. In early 2017 he was an intern at Angel.me. He worked as a freelance PHP and Laravel developer for MijnKwartier.be from 2012 to 2017 and as a freelance Laravel developer for Storanza from 2013 to 2014, alongside student work at Comcon, Makro Belgium NV and Cooking Spaces by Practi-Comfort.
He studied Network & IT at Colomaplus from 2008 to 2011 and took a bachelor's degree in Interactive Multimedia Design at Thomas More Hogeschool Mechelen from 2014 to 2017.
