Youri Segers

Youri Segers is chief executive officer of Digipolis Antwerpen, a role he has held since January 2022, and has been chief digital officer of Stad Antwerpen since September 2020. He is based in Geel.

Before that he spent his career at KBC Bank & Verzekering, which he joined in 2003 as an ICT functional analyst for insurance. He went on to lead ICT projects in insurance and distribution from 2006, and then held a series of product roles, first as internet product manager and from 2011 as senior product manager for mobile. From 2014 he worked as a strategy analyst and change manager, became team lead for product management within company strategy in 2015, headed the mass retail department from 2016, and led marketing innovation from February 2020 until September of that year.

Segers studied commercial engineering and ICT at Hasselt University, graduating in 2003. He completed an MBA in strategy at Vlerick Business School in 2015 and a programme in digital transformation leadership there in 2020.
