Overview

CMB.TECH was created out of the Compagnie Maritime Belge group in Antwerp and absorbed the listed shipping company Euronav after a 2024 takeover led by the Saverys family. The Euronav name was retired and the combined entity was renamed CMB.TECH effective 1 October 2024, with the ticker on Euronext Brussels and NYSE changing from EURN to CMBT. The group is also listed on Euronext Oslo Børs under CMBTO.

The company positions itself as a future-proof maritime business, combining a large conventional shipping fleet with low-carbon propulsion technology.
