Trikker

TLDR

Trikker is a Lier-based drawing tool for electrical installations, built by Kurt De Vocht and Cathy Bogaerts through their company Bluebits BVBA and sold to Anchr Software in March 2025.

Overview

Trikker started in 2009 as a niche CAD product for Belgian electricians who needed to produce single-line diagrams and situation diagrams for the legally required electrical inspections. The software is developed by Bluebits BVBA, a software house founded by Kurt De Vocht and Cathy Bogaerts in Lier, Flanders. Over fifteen years Trikker grew to more than 14,000 active licences and reached an estimated 70 to 80 percent market share among independent Belgian electricians and installation companies.

The product runs on Windows with cloud-stored schemas, mobile access for site work, and an import system for integration with home-automation tooling. Its competitive edge is a combination of price, customer support, and country-specific compliance with Belgian electrical inspection rules.

The sale process began in September 2024 and closed on 26 March 2025, when Anchr Software acquired 100 percent of the shares from Bluebits. Anchr is a portfolio company of private equity fund Strada Partners that consolidates vertical software in the Benelux. Trikker is Anchr's first move into software for construction and installation companies. The stated plan is to scale the product beyond Belgium and France into the Netherlands, Germany, and other European markets, transition to a subscription model, and add new features and integrations while keeping the brand intact. Kurt De Vocht stayed on temporarily for the technical handover and Cathy Bogaerts stepped out of operational management shortly after the deal.
