We extend our sincere thanks to the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) for anchoring such a vital dialogue at the Digital With Purpose Summit in Shenzen. Rita Dias's reflection touches on a fundamental truth: digital transformation is no longer a standalone sector, but rather the foundational architecture of modern society. Ensuring that its deployment remains aligned with sustainability, and public purpose requires systemic vision and deep cross-border cooperation. It was a privilege to have our Chairwoman, Maria João Rodrigues EU, and our CEO, Erika Staël von Holstein actively engaged throughout the event, sharing their overarching visions about the critical priorities of integrating digitalization, economic development, sustainability, and social value. The summit also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the #GlobalAIImpactNetwork (GAIN), a joint initiative co-launched by Re-Imagine Europa and the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) to advance these very objectives. #GAIN will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, experts, academia, and civil society to build a shared vision for AI - one that balances competitiveness with responsibility, innovation with trust, and global progress with human values.
