We’re excited to launch our New Hire Spotlight series to recognize and celebrate the hard work and contributions of our interns. We’re kicking things off by shining the spotlight on Aditya Gupta. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to the team so far! Here is his short blurb:
Hi, I’m Aditya Gupta, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I have always enjoyed building things and figuring out how they work, and volunteering in the healthcare space for several years showed me how those skills could be used to genuinely help people.
That experience sparked my interest in biomedical and wearable-device design, which is a big part of what drew me to Steadiwear.
With the support of the team, I have had the opportunity to contribute to medical device R&D by unpacking the biomechanics of human movement, translating research into engineering requirements, developing concepts and prototypes for orthotic devices, and supporting a full-scale biomechanical test platform through electromechanical design and system integration.
I’m excited to keep building technology that makes a real difference!
