Last weekend marked another major milestone for Virtex, with the move into our state-of-the-art simulation centre in the Uhoda Tower, just one year after opening our doors trackside at Circuit of Spa Francorchamps s.a.
One year on, we have opened the next chapter. Virtex has moved into the ground and first floors of the Uhoda Group Tower, and with it launched our Driver Preparation and Development programme, built on two new DMG-S, our partner Dynisma's newest full-motion simulators, coming alongside our large-travel DMG-1.
The logic is simple. Teams prepare and develop with their engineers on the DMG-1, leveraging our technical expertise to refine the vehicle model of their car. Drivers prepare on the DMG-S, working from the same model and the same data. Vehicle development and driver preparation, under one roof.
We marked it this weekend with the first runs, during the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. A fitting place to take Virtex onto its next step.
This is just the beginning.
