#TimeUse + Space = Time Geography!
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the 6th International Time Geography Conference in #Toronto, where around 80 presentations explored the many ways time and space interact to shape our daily lives.
I was delighted to present our WinWin4WorkLife project and demonstrate how the #MOTUS data collection platform captured insights into #RemoteWork across Europe.
Using the MOTUS app, participants completed detailed time diaries for both a remote workday and an office workday. Simultaneously, geotracking data were collected to link activities with their spatial context. After completing the diaries, participants continued geotracking for an additional 7–10 days, providing a richer picture of mobility patterns and everyday behaviour.
It was inspiring to exchange ideas with researchers from around the world and discuss how combining time-use data with location information can deepen our understanding of work, mobility, and daily life.
