I was delighted to welcome Minister Vanessa Matz to LCL Brussels-North today, together with our longstanding partner Belnet.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to discuss topics that are critical for both Belgium and Europe as a whole: digital sovereignty, sustainability, and energy provisioning. As our societies and economies become increasingly dependent on digital services, sovereign digital infrastructure, such as data centers, is essential to safeguarding innovation, economic growth, and the continuity of public services. It is encouraging to see these priorities receiving growing attention at the policy level.
I would like to sincerely thank Minister Vanessa Matz and the Belnet team for the valuable discussions and for taking the time to visit us today.
