His reward for winning madewithlove's internal Pokemoji challenge: a month of racing to react to Slack messages. Every message. Every channel. Pure dedication.
Is this the most productive use of anyone's time? Almost certainly not 😅. But it spawned a month of laughter, a genuinely competitive leaderboard, and a team that almost went bananas on Slack.
This is what the combo of software development and self-organising culture looks like when you hire the right people and leave them to it.
