For those who don't know it: it's a 100 km walk, and you have 24 hours to finish it.
I accepted the challenge, assuming we wouldn't even get tickets because it's incredibly popular.
Well... that plan failed.
We're in.
14 August 2026. 9:00 PM.
As if walking 100 km wasn't enough, it even starts at night. 😅
Last weekend we completed our first serious test: a 36 km night walk around Lier. Fun experience, straight through some nature parks, going over an outside youth party and more 🕺
One third of the distance.
No major issues.
Confidence boosted (limited though, as.. its not close to 100km)
Now it's time to increase the mileage.
As an entrepreneur, though, you never really stop working.
During the walk I kept thinking of improvements for ChaseMe, and it turned out to be a surprisingly good real world test.
A few bugs and ideas later...
A new update was already submitted to the App Store. 🙈
For those who haven't seen it yet, ChaseMe is a small app that analyzes your Apple Health workouts with one simple question:
🔬 "How did you do today compared to the same day last year?"
It's been surprisingly motivating while preparing for the Dodentocht. Although, if I'm honest, I'm still slightly behind schedule. 😅 (understatement)
The app is completely free, works 100% locally, and doesn't send your health data anywhere.
Privacy first.
Actually... useful insights first, while keeping your data private. 😉
