đź’ˇ 1 in 3 European SMEs switched their accounting software in the last 12 months.
For years, accounting software was seen as the stickiest category in B2B. Deeply embedded, expensive to replace, near-impossible to dislodge.
Our data says something different. 32% of the 1,400 SMEs we surveyed across 10 European countries changed tools in the past year. And the pattern is clear: the more tools in a company's stack, the higher the likelihood of switching. Companies aren't tolerating disconnected stacks anymore.
Software vendors can't afford to stand still. The ones who will win are those who keep innovating, ship integrations faster, and fit into how their customers actually work. The ones who won't? They'll face churn from a market that's moving too fast.
Integration isn't a feature in #accountingsoftware. It's the baseline.
