That's the new reality of EV acoustics. Take away combustion noise, and the broadband sound that used to mask minor leaks disappears with it. Structure-borne noise drops too. So, airborne noise sneaking through tiny apertures suddenly becomes the loudest thing in the cabin. Drivers now expect near-silence, which means even a pinhole-sized leak gets noticed (and complained about).
