Before an optical mirror becomes part of a space mission, it undergoes meticulous quality inspections - even the smallest imperfection can impact performance. Every mirror is checked and validated using complementary techniques, from microscopy to interferometry.
Here, UV light reveals contaminants and residues that are completely invisible under normal light, ensuring nothing compromises the mirror once it's in operation. Every detail matters when the destination is space. In our cleanroom, quality isn't just a step in the process; it's at the heart of everything we do, guided by our ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system.
