The hardest journey #FOCAL7 will ever make is the one it makes next week: from one side of the Liege Science Park to the other.
After more than 2 years in our integration hall, the largest vacuum chamber ever built by AMOS for the Centre Spatial de Liรจge is about to reach its permanent home.

โข 7 m diameter, nearly 14 m long
โข Built to reproduce the extreme cold and vacuum of space
โข Set to become CSL's largest thermal vacuum facility
Building a chamber of this scale is one thing. Moving it intact, aligning it and handing it over ready for commissioning is another. Both are what we do.

Commissioning planned this year, with the support of BELSPO - Belgian Science Policy Office, the Walloon Region and University of Liรจge.
