Would your users know if they're talking to AI right now? 🇪🇺
From 2 August, they're required to. Chatbots, AI-generated content, and deepfakes all need visible labelling under the European AI Act. Non-compliance can cost up to €15 million, or 3% of global turnover.
With this AI Act, it's as much a design job as a legal one. We wrote up what this means for UX/UI work: what situations it covers, what labels to use and where to put them.
