A question for venue leaders… If you were choosing your venue management platform today, knowing everything that you know now, would you still choose your current solution?
For most, the answer is an easy one: “Definitely not!”
In his 20+ years of experience working with venues across North America, Brad Nuccio, VP of Sales, Venues at Thynk.Cloud has seen firsthand how challenging it is when a venue outgrows its venue management software.
Here's what that looks like in practice: a department builds its own version of the event record because finding it in the system takes too long. A report gets produced that nobody quite trusts. Sales, Operations and Finance each end up working from a different version of the same event, often in separate systems, or in parts of the same system that don't talk to each other.
That's not a features problem. It's a foundational one, and it shows up in more ways than most venues realise.
Fear of migration is usually what keeps venues on software they've already outgrown. That's the exact barrier we built Thynk to remove, with swift implementation.
Read Brad's full breakdown in the comments to see why software that "still works" can end up costing your venue more than the effort of switching would.
