French e-invoicing is coming and heat networks can’t wait until 2027 to prepare. 🇫🇷
Starting 1 September 2026, every VAT-registered business in France must be able to receive electronic invoices. Large companies and mid-sized enterprises (ETIs) must also start issuing them. Small businesses and micro-enterprises follow a year later, in September 2027.
For heat suppliers billing property managers, housing associations, municipalities and industrial clients, that means your invoicing systems need to handle compliant formats (Factur-X, UBL, CII), connect through a certified PA, and cover Chorus Pro for B2G invoices — all before the deadline hits.
