🙌 Last week we hosted our first UK Round Table, bringing heat network professionals, innovators and industry leaders together under one roof Four brilliant speakers set the tone for the afternoon. Our takeaway: 🔹 Peter Horne (FairHeat) walked us through what heat network operators need to do to prepare for HNTAS (the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme), and where the funding opportunities sit. 🔹 Soulla Paphitis (Guru Systems Ltd.) made the case for data-led asset management: the shift from asking "how fast did we respond?" to asking "why did this get to the point where someone had to complain?" 🔹 Charles Hargreaves (Ofgem) confirmed it: heat network regulation is live. Operators and suppliers need to register by 26 January 2027, and registration is a first step, not a final declaration. 🔹 Ryan Norris (Zero Friction) closed the day with a clear message: fair, transparent billing is how operators build resident trust ahead of full Ofgem regulation.
