JobRunr v9 is in beta. Please break it. Beta means we think it works. I would very much like to know where we are wrong. What is in it: 🔹 Micronaut 5 support 🔹 Pro: an EventBus, so you can react to job events in your own code 🔹 Pro: pause a running batch (many of you asked for this one) 🔹 Pro: Kotlin Exposed v1 🔹 A few breaking changes, all written down in the migration guide The breaking changes are the part I am nervous about. They always look small until they land in somebody's build on a Friday. The OSS beta is on Maven Central right now. Here is my honest ask. Every release, a handful of people upgrade early on a branch, hit something weird, and open an issue with a stack trace and a reproducer. Those people quietly save everyone else from that bug. If you can spare an afternoon on a non-production branch, you are one of them, and I will be very grateful. And if it breaks in a boring way, tell me that too. Boring bugs are the ones that make it to production 😅
