Our sustainability journey continues to make new strides with the commissioning of a €1.56 million solar park at our HQ in Leuven, Belgium. Fully operational as of January 2026, the installation will help:
1️⃣ Increase the share of renewable electricity in our operations
2️⃣ Support our ambition of reducing our environmental footprint
3️⃣ Reduce our dependency on external energy sources
The solar panel park has 3,200 panels, and we estimate it will produce 1,700 MWh of renewable electricity annually. What does this all mean? We expect it to generate electricity that’s equivalent to what 600 families in Flanders would use for a whole year; thereby reducing our upstream CO₂e emissions by more than 40 tonnes each year!
Argona were key in the design and construction of the solar park. A big thank you to them and Induzz3 for their valuable contributions and support in bringing this project to life. By working together with trusted partners, we can continue accelerating our progress towards more sustainable operations.
