Protecting the planet is our responsibility; it’s how we think, feel, and act as a company. We’re continuously looking at ways to reduce and offset our environmental impact through global initiatives, and our peatland restoration project in Ukraine’s Drevlyanskyi Nature Reserve is just one example.
Over 117 hectares of peatland — an area roughly the size of 165 football fields — were restored in collaboration with the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Birds. Healthy peatlands are pivotal in climate regulation, biodiversity, and water management. They store large amounts of carbon in the landscape, retain water in the environment, and support wildlife like birds and other species.
