Every evening, my commute home runs straight through Antwerp's Schipperskwartier: The Red Light District. Laptop under one arm, finishing up functional and architectural decisions for a feature I was working on that day so I can let it build while driving home.
I did this for a couple of weeks until my colleagues found out this was a habit 😅
Here's the thing: I could easily let the coding agents work when I'm away from the keyboard using cloud agents. But I believe there's still a real difference between an agent that codes and makes the architectural decisions for you, than you being the captain of the code ship. So instead of fully switching off on my walk home, I use it as my daily 20-minute "work code out". The cringe thing is, I speak out all of my prompts, so I guess a lot of people in the street are asking why I'm talking to a laptop every day.
So me actually doing something very serious became a running meme at Driven now 😂
Anyway somewhere between the neon windows, some of our best technical decisions get made 🤷♂️
