Salsa Shop hasn't raised its prices in two years. They've actually dropped some – including the price of guacamole. (If you’re a fan of Mexican food, you know most spots usually charge extra for that.) Against a backdrop of rising energy costs, rising food costs and inflation, that's something worth shouting about. A lot of operators have had to raise prices just to survive rising costs on purchasing, labour and rent. But when those high prices are paired with a decrease in quality? That’s when customers start asking if the meal is still worth what they're paying for it. Salsa Shop faced the same cost pressures as everyone else. They chose a different path: to stand for value for money, and stay there for their community with healthy, affordable, delicious food. What I've seen, working closely with them, is that it's paying off. Margins under control, more and more happy customers returning. Price increases buy you margin today. Trust is what keeps customers coming in the door when the market gets tight. #pricingstrategies #customerexperience #valueformoney #brandloyalty
