During the day, you barely notice it. At night, the façade comes alive. At CoStar Group’s new campus in Richmond, Glassiled® is integrated directly into selected glass panels of the façade, creating a large-scale canvas for moving digital art. It is the sections of the façade where the moving images appear that bring Glassiled® to life. During the day, these panels blend seamlessly with the surrounding glass and the architecture of the building. When darkness falls, they transform into a dynamic display of colour, movement and light. The result is not simply a lit façade. It is a changing piece of digital art integrated into the architecture itself. The moving artwork features creations by internationally renowned artist Refik Anadol, whose AI-driven works have been presented at venues including the Las Vegas Sphere and The Museum of Modern Art in New York. No screen placed in front of the architecture. The glass becomes the screen. This is where Glassiled® adds a new dimension to architectural glass, allowing a building to remain visually integrated by day and become a living canvas by night. A façade that blends in by day.
