People who have followed me for a while will know how much I’ve wanted to see something like this happen.
Not just a legal tech conference. Not an inhouse counsel summit and not a lawyers' gathering.
We envision this to become the place where Africa’s legal ecosystem comes together, the whole value chain. A place where you can meet the latest legal tech providers, both African and international (because software has no borders) but also sit down with a legal engineer or a Tanzanian lawyer to talk about what the local regulator is thinking, exchange directly with the regulator, exchange ideas with an in-house team from Nigeria, or meet someone building the next generation of legal services on the continent.
Technology is a big part of it. But the real ambition is so much bigger.
Rendez-vous: 28 January 2027 in Johannesburg.
Plenty of time to unpack where this is going. But I'm so glad the news is out. I’m very excited about this one!
