Deep domain expertise doesn't stay sharp on its own. Left unchecked, internal knowledge tends to harden into blind spots and reinforce the same assumptions over time.
The Geneva Association made sure that never happened. As the insurance industry's global think tank, they were already excellent at curating insight across their core research areas. To keep it that way, they wanted to validate their next research agenda with real evidence and an outside expert perspective, delivered by a system built to continuously test internal thinking against outside evidence.
This isn't only an insurance problem. Any organization with deep expertise can fall into the same pattern: strong within its usual scope, slower to notice what's shifting just outside it.
Trendtracker gives strategy, risk, and research teams a way to test that internal logic against outside signals, and make sure emerging trends and risks don't hit your organization by surprise.
Swipe through to see the exact process, step by step of how we identified and validated 21 blind spots.
